Cooperation with the Professional Community (CPC)

Our CPC Service Committee is here to support Professionals in the Johnston, Harnett and Sampson Counties.

The purpose of our committee is to be “friendly with our friends” in all walks of life, so that the A.A. message of personal recovery can reach more of those who need and desire our help.

We provide information about A.A. to those who have contact with alcoholics through their profession. This group includes healthcare professionals, educators, members of the clergy, lawyers, social workers, union leaders, and industrial managers, government officials, as well as those working in the field of alcoholism. Information is provided about where we are, what we are, what we can do, and what we cannot do.

Ways we can work with you:

  • Schedule an AA member to speak at your location
  • Accompany you to an open AA meeting so you can learn more (open meetings are for alcoholics and nonalcoholics)
  • Provide you with meeting schedules and/or literature for your office
